Marketing & Sales Division

SALES MANAGER
Duties and responsibilities
- Source and identify prospective exhibition, conference and meeting event organizers, regularly adding to, and updating, contact details in order to build and maintain a targeted and credible database;
- Maintain regular communication with potential clients, including for example, lunch meetings, sales visits and seasonal greetings;
- Proactively work to retain and expand major recurrent business through personal attention to the accounts, maintaining effective communications with clients, and understanding and fulfilling the clients' needs, including making provisions for recurrent event tenancies in future years;
- Enhance customer satisfaction levels through coordination of, and responsiveness to, client needs;
- Provide management with up-to-date market information through regularly conducting surveys, and data collection of the related business sectors;
- Strictly comply with all rules and regulations of the company; and,
- Perform other related duties as assigned by superior and senior management.
Requirements, knowledge and experience
- University degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism or Hotel Management;
- Good marketing skills with a minimum of three (3) years of sales and marketing experience, one (1) year of which is at a supervisory level;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills which are mandatory to maintain effective personal contact with clients, customers, industry executives;
- Enthusiasm and responsiveness relative to being part of EXPO's team and to meeting, at a minimum, the duties and responsibilities of the position;
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, fluent in Chinese (reasonable English skills preferred also); and,
- Possess a high sense of responsibility.

Engineering Division

GENERAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Duties and responsibilities
- Exercise direct supervision over building maintenance contractors;
- Perform general maintenance and repair work including but not limited to carpentry, painting, masonry and decoration;
- Ensure maintenance work is done properly, utilizing correct techniques and in compliance with applicable safe work practices and procedures;
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and tools;
- Coordinate emergency operations and conditions;
- Strictly comply with all rules and regulations of the company; and,
- Perform other related duties as assigned by superior and senior management.
Requirements, knowledge and experience
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in exhibition/event management industry/decoration related work;
- Excellent knowledge in technical building maintenance;
- Enthusiastic, proactive and responsive to job, staff and event needs;
- Able to operate a variety of equipment and tools necessary for conducting maintenance and repair work; and,
- Possess a high sense of responsibility.
